The Imminent Collapse of the US Financial System

As part of my ongoing series demonstrating metaphysics and the utility and correlation of astrology with real-world events (Cryptocurrency as a Lesson in Metaphysics), this article is going to talk about the upcoming chaos (as if things are not already chaotic enough) which will begin the end of May and early June and will last until spring 2027, including the total collapse of the financial system of the United States of America.

This is obviously not a daring prediction since there many people are making similar warnings, with the United States record 40-trillion debt continuing to rise as the current, right-wing party fails to fund the government, and a massive, fraudulent bubble grows around the entire “AI” industry (it’s not actually artificial intelligence, it’s a large language learning model that simply predicts the next most likely response). But, as discussed in my book Under A Libra God which discusses the science of spirituality and the correlation (not causation) of astrology with events, it is possible to see about when these events will likely occur.

One person recently told me they bought $1k of oil when I first warned of the upcoming volatility in my article Countdown to Something Big, and it was now worth $5k. While I’m happy they earned some money this is a very, very risky way to use astrology because the only thing we can know is that there will be an event, but the nature of that event and how it actually plays out is not something we can accurately predict, but only make an educated guess, and it is more that this person got lucky rather than gaming the system, and it is not likely that we will all profit similarly from this information but instead should use this information to make rational decisions and prepare for a bumpy time ahead.

On June 5-6th the North Node, which concerns fate and destiny, located in the United State’s zodiac 9th house of philosophy (the United Sates is the zodiac sign of Cancer), will square Uranus, which concerns technology and revolution, in the US’s 12th zodiac house of spirit, which rules spirituality but also endings, delusions, secrets, and the intangible (square is also a challenging aspect). The last time the North Node squared Uranus was in early November 2018 in the US’s 2nd zodiac house of means (money, resources, and how we earn our money), marking the “crypto winter” and the final end of the previous crypto bubble. Crypto would go on to recover after the following sextile, but these were the closing alignments in that cycle, not the opening ones, and a new cycle began at the conjunction of the North Node and Uranus in August 2022, after which came the opening, auspicious semi-sextile and sextile alignments in 2024 and 2025 which saw crypto once again rise to unfathomable, irrational valuation as Uranus entered the US’s 11th zodiac house of fortune. Uranus does not specifically rule cryptocurrency, but instead rules technology and revolution, which are represented in the current iteration of cryptocurrency (since 'AI’ is more a financial fraud I’m not sure that it fits with Uranus), and the upcoming square thus likely represents the ending of crypto in its current form which will also reshape the philosophy of the US and its financial system as a result of the upcoming implosion. Like the ‘dot-com’ bust of the last century, this will not be the end of cryptocurrency but its evolution into something different, likely to become more stable and practical as did the internet after its burgeoning heyday.

This collapse will also be preceded by events which lead to it, especially on the 3rd and 4th as Mercury in the US’s 1st zodiac house of self (identity, purpose) moves square to Neptune (spirituality and delusion) in the US’s 10th house of society, followed by its inconjunct to retrograde Pluto (power and control) in the US’s 8th zodiac house (also power and control), which seems to imply some impulsive attempts by the government to control society and rescue its finances (likely including the investment bubble in “AI”), but which will instead result in the crisis of identity and financial collapse which will unfold through the rest of the year.

On June 9th, Jupiter and Venus become conjunct, also transiting the US’s 1st house of self/identity while Mercury also moves into a square with Saturn which rules, structure, society, institutions, government, etc., in the US’s 10th house of society which also rules the same, which are also conjuncted by the Moon while the Sun is also sesquiquadrate Pluto. This might not be a highly significant date, but will be relevant to the procession of the collapse. Later, however, around June 17th the fast planets begin parading through the US’s 2nd house of means (how resources like money is earned) in opposition to Pluto in the US’s 8th house of power and control, indicating an increase in authoritarian control and power moves by the US which will have further disruptive effects on the US financial system. Both the 8th house and Pluto also rule shared finances such as US treasuries and debt (and taxes, shared bank accounts, etc.), because the sharing of resources is always a vector for control behaviors and control dynamics, so transits to Pluto here for the US in the remainder of the year (and indeed until Pluto finishes this transit in 2043) will be significant and likely affect bonds, treasuries, interest rates, the debt, etc.

Then on June 26th the Sun also in the US’s 1st house also squares Neptune in the US’s 10th zodiac house while inconjunct to Pluto. Inconjunct is an impulsive influence correlated with emotional and spontaneous decision-making, so there should be some impulsive market or government action around this date which challenges the US’s sense of identity and purpose which may also prove perilous to institutions, society, financial institutions, etc., which sets the stage for further collapse. A few days later on June 29 Mercury in the USA’s 1st zodiac house also goes retrograde while conjunct the Sun, which is when the real chaos probably starts to begin, as Mercury retrograde always affects communication. Mercury retrograde always handles the developments which occurred in the previous few weeks (the retrograde ‘shadow’), so the Sun squaring Neptune inconjunct Pluto will continue to have effects afterward. Following closely on July 2nd, during the retrograde, Jupiter (growth, expansion, opportunity) moving into in the US’s 2nd house of means is also inconjunct with the North Node which is at the very end of its transit through the US’s 9th zodiac house of philosophy as it prepares to enter the 8th house (the North Node transits retrograde, contrary to the prograde motion of the planets), and at the same time the Moon reaches Pluto and Mars reaches Uranus which likely indicates major, impulsive, challenging developments in the US financial status which are fateful to and informed by its philosophy which has evolved as a result of recent experiences such as in crypto and the “AI'“ investment bubble. This should be a significant time for movement of money and the US financial system, stock market, investments, etc., as people try to get their money into safer harbors which are increasingly sparing. Also during this retrograde on July 13, Venus (partnership, business) moves inconjunct to both Pluto and Neptune and square Uranus which indicates more impulsive, possibly erratic moves by government, stocks, and tech. A few days later on July 17-18, also during the retrograde, Jupiter also moves into opposition with Pluto, which is is really not a great alignment and indicates disruptive attempts at power and control, most likely by government. The last time Jupiter opposed Pluto in August 2013 there were major events of violence around the world including the military coup leaders in Egypt (which had occurred a month before) killing over 500 protesters. Because Pluto is in the USA’s 8th house of power and control it is likely the US government does something similar which further deepens the crisis rather than helping it. At the same time Jupiter is both sextile and trine to Uranus and Neptune, which means that every single slow planet will occupy the same degree of the sign they occupy which is not something that ever really happens and which may temper some of the chaos but will definitely indicate something profound and likely include movements challenging the establishment to reorient growth, identity, and prosperity toward revolution and service to others rather than selfish, personal gain and power. Mercury comes out of retrograde on July 23 so the issues which appear during this time will then start to resolve or solidify.

Later, at the end of August (the 25th) the Sun and Mercury then also become inconjunct to Neptune and Pluto, and afterward move into square with Uranus, likely reflecting more chaos with crypto and “AI” which results from impulsive decisions by government and people alike. By September 15th Venus squares Pluto and is also inconjunct to Neptune and Uranus (and shortly after also to Saturn), which will probably correlate with shenanigans surrounding crypto, “AI,” financial institutions, and government. But this period is very significant because Venus then goes into retrograde, which means that Venus will pass over these alignments several times, not just once, giving this period much more significance and drawn out, languid, stalled developments which will not resolve for months. Venus is the planet of partnership, business, love, cooperation, etc., so this retrograde transit will likely be the most marked period of chaos this year since during Venus retrograde there is always a deficit of cooperation and harmony.

But it gets even worse! Mercury again goes retrograde, this time with Venus, starting October 24, with the same transits to Pluto, Neptune, and Saturn. The US midterm elections occur during this dual-retrograde, on November 3rd, and this chaos likely describes the efforts by the Trump administration to subvert democracy in the US and nullify the midterm elections, since Venus retrograde is always associated with less cooperation and less humanity and Mercury always represents disruptions. This will not be a surprise to many since Trump himself has said he intends to do this and has been actively trying to subvert democracy and the upcoming elections, but it will definitely be a chaotic and demoralizing period full of conflict, tension, and likely even violence against voters and people trying to protect the right to vote similar to the violence which occurred earlier this year in Minnesota, but staging a coup or subversion of democracy during a Mercury retrograde is bound to fail since the ability to execute plans and communicate effectively is compromised. On election day both the Sun and Moon will also be inconjunct Saturn, indicating the impulsive, desperate actions undertaken in regard to government institutions, and Jupiter will also be sesquiquadrate Saturn, which rules elections (institutions and rules). Shortly after on November 15th, Mars then joins Jupiter in the US’s 2nd house of means in opposition to the North Node in the US 8th zodiac house of power, indicating significant control and power struggles affecting the US’s financial status, and further developments of whatever occurrs during the midterm elections, followed by the Sun squaring this Jupiter and Mars conjunction on the 18th.

Mercury and Venus finally resolve their retrograde motion on the 13th and 14th of November, but must retread the transits through which they reversed and the issues they instigate will not be solved until after the New Year. Finally, Mars begins tense transits on December 4th, also coming inconjunct to Pluto and Neptune then square to Uranus and inconjunct Saturn before also going retrograde January 10 to April 1. This can be auspicious because Mars is the planet of action and its retrograde tends to be associated with stalled plans and failure to progress, but likely represents continued efforts to undermine the new congress, but which will ultimately fail. Mars is then joined also by Jupiter retrograde, and since both are in the US 2nd house this likely indicates continued problems with the US financial system. From February to June 2027 the faster planets Venus, Mercury, the Sun, and Mars finally parade through conjunction with Pluto which likely indicates resolution of all the problems which occur in 2026 (by resolution I don’t mean things get better necessarily but that the specific themes reach a culmination), especially as Jupiter finishes its transit through the US 2nd house at the end of 2027 and our finances finally start to stabilize.

These transits will also affect other countries, of course, but exactly how they do is relevant to each country’s specific zodiac sign, which is often difficult to establish, especially when countries have existed for thousands of years (the US, being so young, is more obvious). If I was a betting man I suspect that these transits ultimately reflect the election of many progressive congresspersons to the US House and Senate, sufficient not only to take back control of the US government but also enough to do away with the old, corrupt, establishment Democrats which were equally complicit as the Republicans in the destruction and corruption of our country and the heinous things done in the name of the United States over the last 70 years. The Trump administration will try to subvert the midterm elections but will ultimately fail, then along with his vice president will be impeached by the new congress in early 2027 and whatever new majority leader of the US house will then be interim president from 2027-2028. Of course, I could be wrong about all of this, it is just my educated but still relatively inexperienced attempt at reading the tea leaves.
